What a load of crap !!! One thing for certain… cats don’t give a rat’s ass what B.S. you tell about them. They refuse to care less, either about what you think of them, or about the people they love.

“Cats don’t miss you when you’re gone” is a ton of bs. Whenever I leave to go anywhere, I can hear my cats meowing at the door within moments trying to find me. They sit in the window watching for me to come home and they are at the door to greet me almost every single time.

Cats also grieve.

This is kind of a response to a string of questions answered by @shay-gnar regarding why minors should stay out of 18+ spaces; I had started writing it as a reblog to the post but realized it was a bit too big and detailed.

****Now even though my blog is 18+ (and I cannot stress that enough) I am okay with minors reblogging ONLY THIS POST FROM ME FOR EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIVE REASONS.****

Okay kiddies, let’s get some truth going.

When I was 15 a guy who was 19 started hitting on me at work. I liked it. I wasn’t the most confident kid, I hated myself for so many reasons and what luck for this guy he just so happened to start hitting on me after a breakup. He said all the pretty words needed to make me fall for him, and I did. Really fucking hard. We started dating and after a bit I was convinced that we were going to get married.

Guess what he introduced me to? BDSM and Dom/sub relationships.

So after he knew I was his the abuse started. He started borrowing money from me saying he’d pay me back. He wouldn’t talk to me for days if I said something that upset him. He made me stop seeing my best friends, got unreasonably mad when I hung out with guys and isolated me from my family. He’d wildly accuse me of things and would yell at me until I admitted they were the truth; which they never were. I couldn’t even look both ways before crossing the street without him accusing me of checking out male joggers. When we had anal sex and I asked him to stop because it hurt he kept going, he raped me. He cheated on me with multiple women, and even though I knew it was happening I still made excuses for him.

I was 17 when I finally came to my senses and left him, but only after countless nights of crying, blaming myself, and thinking what I did wrong. Even to this day I sometimes catch myself asking why the fuck I wasn’t enough. After we broke up I came to my parents a few weeks later and told them I needed a therapist, a few months after that I was rushed to the hospital after I cut myself too deeply. I’ve been in therapy since, I’m 20 now.

I spent two years with this guy because he had worn me down so badly I thought no one else would ever like me. He was the best I would ever get. Don’t get me wrong people tried to help me the entire time, but I always made excuses for him because I loved him. I put up with so much bullshit because he made me believe in him and this fantasy life he could give me. I’m never going to get those years back; all I get are horrible nightmares, anxiety attacks, severe trust issues and traumatic memories.

He mentally and sexually abused me for years and I still carry the mental and physical scars he caused.

Most of my mental illnesses stem from the trauma and the toxic environment he caused.

I was young, I was stupid, I was easily manipulated.

So when we say we don’t want minors in kink for YOUR safety, we really fucking mean it.

I’ve reblogged this so many times because I truly think every parent should involve themselves with what their child enjoys.

Not to mention this is an act of solidarity. He’s saying “even if the entire world is against you, I’m on your side.” Which I think is important for a kid to know. He’s refusing to be a bully to his child, even if he doesn’t understand.

I work at Hot Topic and we had a white suburban dad in who was buying matching heavy metal/screamo band shirts for him and his teenage daughter and said “To be honest, I think this stuff sounds like garbage, but she likes it so we listen to it together and we’re going to the concert for Christmas.” And it was just really heartwarming to see him so involved in his child’s life and validating her interests.

If I can see the beauty in you, then so can you. everyone is beautiful no matter what they look like, tall, short, skinny fat, black white red,, blue, green, everyone has a beauty about them. So please, don’t judge yourself harshly. and don;t EVER judge others. Don;t bully, be encouraging and loving to one another, support each other in good times and bad. celebrate your triumphs and hold each other up during the rough down times. it will be ok. Trust me. No matter what is your situation, there is a way out that only requires you to breath and think positive and let yourself feel good for a moment. When you get clarity again, the right answers will come to you. if not, talk to a friend. maybe two people thinking can help solve the problem. Either way, don’t cut, don’t harm, don’t attempt suicide. Those are all wrong decisions and done in haste without clarity. wait for the clarity, people. it will guide you right. And for those of you that believe in God, Ask him for help too. he won’t steer you wrong if you truly believe. he won’t give you more than you can take without a means of escape. (Which doesn’t require you to kill yourself. that’s NEVER an option)
I hope everyone of you reading this takes away something good from it. i wrote it all from my heart and my truth how I percieve things. I know my blog on Tmblr is fantasy and fun and sometimes evil, but underneath it all, i do care about you. I do love all of you and want the very best for everyone in all situations. Hello friends, I’m going to tell you some cool stuff about bees and why you shouldn’t be afraid of them!

See, there is a lot of misplaced fear over our fuzzy pollinating buddies. Many folks think they are mean and dangerous, but bees are very good little friends. The little, kind bee should not be mistaken for their evil look a likes, such as Hornets Yellow Jackets and Wasps, which are evil and should be hated like the beasts they are. Bees are docile by nature, and are not a threat to anyone who’s not allergic to them.

These bees are Swarming, which despite it’s scary sounding name, is not a dangerous time to be around bees. This time is the safest time to be around bees because they couldn’t give a hoot about you. These bees are gathering themselves together in order to go as a whole colony to find a new home. The gif is showing how bees don’t mind the outside world at this point in a swarm. The bees probably feel like a tickle on his hand. ^-^

Here’s some cool facts about bees!

-Bees are the BEST pollinators in the world! better than butterflies, or humming birds.

-Bees in a colony are all females. The males of the species look totes different and are called drones.

-Bees are totally different from Yellow Jackets, Hornets, and Wasps. They are not even close relatives in the insect kingdom!

-“Africanized” Bees are of no threat to anyone north of the New Mexico, and they barely pose a risk there! They are more territorial than some other species of bees, but not as bad as wasps.

-Many crops rely on bees.

-Bees will often die after stinging someone. Bees know this, and thus will do much to avoid stinging you. Hate to say it buddy, but you’re not worth their time.

-Honey, in it’s natural state, is a vitamin rich superfood! It can help with everything from icky feelings, to gross hair.

-Bees are threatened in many places by parasites, people, and misinformation. Do your part to help the bees and plant some flowers.

Bees are not aggressive! Not even Africanized bees! They are purely defensive: meaning they won’t fuck with you unless you’re fuckin with their hive or acting aggressive. Now beekeepers don’t want africanized bees because if you’re digging around in their hive then they see that as aggression, and also they swarm a hell of a lot more.

Bees do NOT LIKE CO2, so if a bee is too close for comfort? Gently blow on her. She thinks it’s stink and will buzz away.

As for swarming: bees only defend their hive. When they’re swarming? They don’t have a hive!
